The fall semester was filled with joyous celebrations. We honored the 50th anniversaries of the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, the Information Sciences Institute, along with several other programs and partnerships across the university. We also marked the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the landmark federal civil rights law that paved the way for gender equity in all aspects of higher education, by highlighting some of our own Title IX trailblazers. Faculty and staff continued to receive state and national recognitions for their expertise in their fields. See some examples of these highlights below.
