USC is all about its people. We are a vibrant and ambitious community, and we attract top talent across myriad fields. This semester, we welcomed a new dean for our Kaufman School of Dance, a new senior vice president for university advancement, a new chief for the Department of Public Safety and new leaders for the Shoah Foundation, KUSC radio and religious and spiritual life. We welcomed nearly 350 new faculty members and recognized many of our current faculty for their academic achievements, including appointments to national academies and other high-profile positions.
